South Bay Artist Collective
The South Bay Artist Collective is a community of artists who believe creative work becomes more powerful when it is shared. Through exhibitions, gatherings, collaborative projects, artist resources, and community events, SBAC gives South Bay artists a place to build relationships, exchange ideas, support one another, and create more opportunities for their work to be seen.
Open to artists across styles, mediums, and experience levels, the Collective values participation, generosity, curiosity, and genuine connection. It is a space to share your work, meet other creative people, become more involved in the local arts community, and help shape the creative culture you want to be part of.
Founded by Rafael McMaster, the South Bay Artist Collective flourished for more than a decade under his leadership through Resin Art Gallery and Indivisible Arts. Today, SBAC is entering its next chapter under the stewardship of Not Shockboxx Art Gallery. Its original spirit remains at the heart of the Collective: artists supporting artists and building something meaningful together.

A Note for Current SBAC Members
If you are transitioning to the new SBAC from its previous leadership, your existing membership benefits will remain in place. You will continue to receive the networking, community, communication, collaboration, and exhibition opportunities you already know, while gaining access to an expanding range of resources and promotional opportunities through Not Shockboxx. The existing artist directory will also be transitioned to the new SBAC website this month. This next chapter is about building on what already works, preserving the community that artists value, and creating even more ways for SBAC members and their work to be seen.
