Human-Made

At a moment when creativity was increasingly being automated, scraped and replicated by machines, Human-Made celebrated the real thing: work shaped by human hands, hearts and lived experience.

The exhibition highlighted artists who created original work and extended that creativity into tangible objects. A carefully developed form might become a small-batch collection. A painting could live again as a print. Illustrations and lettering could move onto journals, cards, textiles and usable objects without losing their connection to the artist who made them.

Human-Made honored the fertile middle ground where fine art and maker culture meet, and where craftsmanship, repetition and small-run production are part of the story rather than something to hide. Bringing together artists, designers, makers and creative entrepreneurs, the exhibition pushed back against automation by celebrating personality, process and the unmistakable imprint of the human touch.

The juried exhibition was presented at Not Shockboxx from January 10–31, 2026.
