Knot Sorry brought fiber art into the spotlight with a bold collection of quilting, embroidery, weaving, crochet, sewing, sculptural textiles and mixed media. Exploring thread as memory, protest, identity, obsession and care, the exhibition celebrated handmade work that was intimate, labor-intensive and impossible to ignore.
Pray the Gay Away used humor, satire and fearless honesty to confront conversion therapy, homophobia and the hypocrisy of trying to “fix” queerness. Unapologetic and intentionally uncomfortable, the exhibition celebrated queer voices, allyship and art’s power to rattle cages.
